Lets see to catch everyone up on what was missed! April 13, 2010 at 1:03 am Makenzie Leigh Muse arrived! She was 6lbs 9oz and 19.5 in' She is perfect! We were all so excited to welcome her to the family including Carson! He is obsessed with his little sister and they are adorable together!!
What happened next... Oh yea :( TJ deployed May 13th. Life without him was difficult! We all missed him and Carson was more affected with it than I thought he would be since he was so young but you could tell he missed him, he asked about TJ all the time! It would break my heart! We were lucky to have internet and skype and we got to talk almost every day and the kids got to see him alot.
On June 6, 2008 my little Carson turned TWO!! And let me tell ya he is not a baby anymore and he will tell you that himself! He is such an amazing child and I couldn't ask for a better son! Everyday is something different with him and he is just crazy!! For his birthday this year we had a party at the house and it was nuts! I will NEVER have another one of my childrens parties at my house again!! We grilled and had a pool set up and sprinklers and Carson had a blast but it was just to hectic for me!! Heres a pic of my big boy on his big day!
In Novemeber we added to our little family! We welcomed Duke! He is a pit bull. I was so scared to get this dog because of all you hear about them. But I will tell you he is the sweetest thing and such a big baby! The kids crawl and lay all over him and he doesn't even look at them. He is playful like every puppy but for the most part he has given us no problems!

In November our soldier came home!!! The kids did great, Carson set off an alarm at the airport running up to him when he saw him. Kenzie did perfect too, giggling with him and everything. I was kinda worried how she would be because she had some stranger anxiety and he left when she was 4 weeks old came back when she was almost 8 months old, but she did amazing and adjusted perfect to him being here.
Well that covers the big events that happened this year for our family. We had quite a year! Hopefully I can keep this up for 2011!
